Our Aluminium-to-Eco Alloys and Plastics-to-Eco Fuels technologies were introduced as new examples of innovative ways to add to the circular economy in Europe.

Both of our projects were submitted on the European Circular Economy Industry Platform, a web tool managed by BusinessEurope and its national members that contributes to the EU’s agenda on circular economy.

The European Circular Economy Industry Platform showcases what businesses are doing and what challenges they face to become more circular.

The Platform showcases ZEME’s novel technology of thermal Cracking of Plastics and conversion into synthetic renewable eco-fuel (diesel, marine fuel, heavy fuel oil) and styrene monomer (from polystyrene).

It also showcases the company’s novel technology of scrap aluminium conversion into sustainable high value Eco alloy ingots.
